Dhaka National Medical College is a private institution located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It provides MBBS education to both local and international medical students. Established in 1925 as the Dhaka National Medical Institute, the college was originally situated near Bahadur Shah Park. In 1994, it was inaugurated at its present location in old Dhaka, which includes an 850-bed multidisciplinary hospital complex adjacent to the academic building.
The college has a proud history and a friendly academic environment. Currently, the 25th batch of students is being admitted. Students from different countries worldwide have come to pursue higher studies here, including those from India. The college offers a 5-year course in both MBBS and BDS, approved by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) from Dhaka University. After passing the final professional examination, there is a compulsory one-year internship.
